Imaginary Day Live

Editor's Note Guitarist Pat Metheny has been an established player on the jazz scene since the mid 1970s. IMAGINARY DAY LIVE finds Metheny teaming up with his longstanding backing band to perform a full show at the Mountain Winery, which is located in Saratoga, California. The concert was shot in 1998 and the material performed is based around Metheny's experimental 1997 album IMAGINARY DAY. Among the tracks performed are reworkings of "Follow Me," "Imaginary Day," and "Message to a Friend."
