Impossible to listen to only once, these exuberant poems are filled to the brim with smiles and silliness and are sure to be loved by children from Miami to Seattle.

So much to see! So much to do! Listen to this audio book and... meet people and animals in such far-flung places as Minot, Minneapolis, Tuscaloosa, Tucumcari, and the Grand Canyon.... Smell the tall flowers in Aunt Giraffe''s garden, sip juice with a big blue goose, eat oodles of noodles with some poodles, and much, much more!

Annotation:
This is a humorous collection of Jack Prelutsky's rollicking poetry, filled with noodle-eating poodles, truck-driving geese, and a boy named Peter whose dessert-eating abilities are wildly impressive. Accompanied by wonderful watercolor illustrations filled with color and pizzazz.
Author Bio
Jack Prelutsky
Born and raised in New York City, children's poet and author Jack Prelutsky had a variety of interests and careers, such as opera and carpentry, before turning to children's poetry in his early 20s. Well known for his numerous books and collections, including THE RANDOM HOUSE BOOK OF POETRY FOR CHILDREN, IT'S RAINING PIGS AND NOODLES, and READ-ALOUD RHYMES FOR THE VERY YOUNG, he was named the first Children's Poet Laureate in 2006 by the Poetry Foundation.

Praise

"This is Prelutsky for younger audiences, with the compact verses musing rather than snappy and the subjects simple...The verses are a little uneven, but most of the poetry has a pretty particularity...and a gentle circular or episodic tendency that recall nursery rhymes." 9/1/2007
