Annotation:
After Nora's husband dies in an accident, she and her young son Jason are stalked by dangerous men in relentless pursuit of something they don't know they possess. This literary thriller is something of a departure for Bausch, whose novels of domestic realism, usually about well-meaning men and their troubled relationships, have been widely acclaimed.
