Customer Reviews of Intuit Quicken 2012 Deluxe Retail
I had to upgrade because my 2010 Quicken Pro wouldn't handle a change Bank of America made to their online software. So I had to buy a new version just to reconnect to Bank of America online with Quicken. The change worked automatically with 2012, but I'm not seeing much new. And honestly, the BofA change is something basic that should have been offered for free as a patch for older versions of Quicken. Upgrade only if necessary.
Not worth the money6/12/2012
The only reason I upgrade from older version is because I want to use the online update feature. The software is still slow and not adding a lot of features.
Definitely buy it online.6/12/2012
Seems easier to use than previous versions and appears to be a major upgrade of functionality. So far I like it. For the price, definitely shop it online. You can save nearly 50% off the shelf prices.
I had no problems upgrading my old version to this new one.
Perfect for personal finances6/2/2012
One of the best programs for personal finances
Product as Advertised5/21/2012
What can I say--it is Quicken. Any problems I have with it will be problems anyone would have buying in a store. It works as advertised, but was a little more difficult to install than prior versions.
Good product for small farm
Everything needed for home financial management.
I've had several editions of Quicken and this is the best so far. Easy to use, nice to look at, simple to install.
Buggy and Slow2/25/2012
I have been using Quicken 2009 for years with one issue where interest from CDs is treated as principal (which I reported as a bug and Quicken will not fix). All of a sudden, I received a notice saying that my software online banking updating will end (after 3 years). I do not remember agreeing to a restricton like this. I bought Quicken 2012, now one of my credit cards repeats EVERY transaction when I update online, the 401k summary feature is removed and the replacement feature is too slow.
