|IOGEAR's Wireless HD Kit takes wireless home entertainment retrofitting / installation to a new level of connectivity, flexibility, convenience, and decor.|
The solution consists of a Wireless HD Transmitter and a Wireless HD Receiver, with various connectors - HDMI, Component, Composite, and RGB / VGA ports. With these available connectivity options, it allows up to 4 A/V devices such as a Blu-ray player, DVR / Set-top box, Media Server or VCR to be connected. The Wireless HD Kit does not require a line-of-sight placement, keeping home theater devices neatly out of sight, which enables a quick, simple, and flexible wireless audio / video solution.
It's capable of streaming Full HD 1080p 60Hz or non-HD content with digital audio up to 100 feet away to a (HD, non-HD TV or projector) display within the home or desired set up.
The Wireless HD Transmitter provides the ability to broadcast with almost no latency within its own integrated private Wi-Fi (802.11n) network (without interference or sharing of any near by wireless routers) so that the content can be streamed to a total of 4 Wireless HD Receivers*. This simplifies the process of installing multi-room or multi-display environments and provides the freedom of additional displays in not so common areas in the home or business with ease.
The configuration possibilities and usage for this solution are endless and a must have for any new install or retrofit job for today's digital home.
Install Solution for: Multi-room Installations, Digital Signage, Entertainment Rooms, Sports Bars, places of Worship, Schools, Tradeshow / Expos, and much more.
* Additional Wireless HD Receivers are sold separately - Part # GWAV8101R

Best wireless HD product11/20/2012
This product is awesome! Hands down the best wireless HD solution for multiple devices to connect to it and display from it.
If you need to locate an HDTV in an unusual location like a patio, bathroom or garage that is not already wired for satelite or cable, this is the solution! I had a receiver box added to my system at no charge and plugged this device into it. Once the receiving unit is plugged into the tv, I can locate it almost anywhere in the house!
