I have been using this product for 10 months and I love it! Besides sharing Keyboard, video and mouse, I also have my ZIP drive, CF card reader connected to it so that both my PCs can share them. It is the only one on the market that allows USB periphsral sharing! I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a 2port switch.

This is one of the best values I've found lately. Works great for the most part. The problems that I've encountered weren't really the fault of the switch. Windows 2000: Works great no problems. It was recognized even when OS went into Stand By mode. Mac OSX 10.1.1 - 10.1.2: Mouse and keyboard where lost every once in while when switching back. I think the problem was due to the computer going to sleep while the other computer was active on the switch. They weren't (re)recognized in sleep mode and a manual restart was needed. It could have been something else, but tuning off sleep mode in the Energy Saver System Preferences fixed the problem.

Product Overview

With increased data bandwidth, true Plug-n-Play compatability and hot-swappability, USB has become the new standard in low-mid speed peripheral communication. With this in mind, we developed the new MiniView KVMP switches with USB peripheral sharing capability. Use the MiniView with a monitor, USB keyboard, USB mouse and two other USB devices - any USB devices. If you need to use more USB devices, connect a USB hub to increase the number of shared ports. With IOGEAR's USB MiniView, peripheral sharing has never been easier.
