Performance

First, it can only be used in an NAS configuration. So, if you have problems (as I did), there is no direct connect option. Second, it is not supported on Mountain Lion. Third, I experienced problems with simple file operations that this unit should handle with ease. Saving a document through an app failed with a permission error. Copying via the finder, individual files copied fine. But trying to copy a folder and its contents fails every time with a "-50" unexpected error. All of my OSX permissions are set properly and no security limitations are enabled on the unit. It should work. It does not. Iomega's site is unhelpful. I've wasted enough time on this dog. It's going back.

I purchase this product in Nov'12. Since than i been trying to configure this device but no luck. Even called support and they are also not able to resolve and every time new technician giving different answers.Problem is the device has no proper documentation. There is no way to download documents stored on device while on go.During iomega store center access, actual client computer name has to add as a user and assign access permission to that user to access secured share.
