My Iomega Storage 3TB

by Trini Birdman on 4/6/2013

I got the 3TB version. I can tell you that it comes with a single 3.5" 3TB drive. Its easy to set up the storage. The drive is good for storing your home movies, songs, and backup data for your networked computer. I personally don't use thr Cloud so I can't give much information on it. The personal Cloud technology is for those of you who want access to the drive remotely. I would recommend you use a well designed router that can give ample security for remote access (NAT table and port forwarding capable). Interesting enough, you can use this device as a media center by using one of those network capable flashdrive type Linux computers. You can use the Linuix system to access the movie files. I would recommend for home office and family media. You decide if 3TB is enough for your gaming cloud storage needs.
