Before the blissful day of their marriage arrives, beautiful psychic Nuala Anne McGrail and her true love, "accidental millionaire" and part-time writer Dermot Michael Coyle, find themselves on a hunt to find out what really happened to Al Capone's famous rival, Jimmy "Sweet Rolls" Sullivan.
From the Publisher:
Beautiful, strong, and psychic, Nuala Anne McGrail finds true love with "accidental millionaire" Dermot Michael Coyne, until her "spells" send them on a hunt to find out what really happened to Al Capone's famous rival, Jimmy Sullivan. Reprint.
Nuala Anne McGrail is almost more than any poor mortal man can handle without losing his sanity: her beauty causes shortness of breath in men of all ages, she's strong, she's smart, she's witty, she sings like an angel, and--to top it all off--she's psychic, or fey as they say in the Old Country.

But our man Dermot Michael Coyne, "accidental millionaire," part-time writer, and full-time worshiper of Nuala, seems to be bearing up pretty well in as much as Herself has consented to marry him.

Before that blissful day arrives, another one of Nuala's "spells" sends the pair on a hunt to find out what really happened to Al Capone's famous rival, Jimmy "Sweet Rolls" Sullivan. And as they've found in previous adventures, historic mysteries can often be too current for safety, and the dead should be left buried--wherever they are.
Annotation:
This historical adventure features a young girl named Alice Rose and Sam Clemens (later known as Mark Twain), a newspaper reporter who works for her father. After Alice Rose witnesses a murder, she turns to Sam for help. Meanwhile, the duo gets caught up in a conflict between Union and Confederate supporters over a valuable silver claim.
Author Bio
Andrew M. Greeley
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Reverend Andrew M. Greeley received an A.B. at St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in 1950 and both an M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. He has written extensively on religious and sociological topics in his column with the "Chicago Sun-Times", which began in 1985, and in numerous essays, articles, and non-fiction books. Father Greeley is also the best-selling author of a long list of novels, many of which are inspirational mysteries that examine spiritual and moral questions within modern society. A priest with what many would call liberal philosophies, Greeley produces bestsellers colored by both violence and sexuality, often detailing the sins and temptations of his distraught, ambivalent protagonists.
