What if you could jump? Go anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye? What would you do? Where would you go?

What if you were only five years old?

Griffin O''Connor jumped for the first time in front of a busload of tourists in Oxford; there was no hope of keeping his ability a secret. He was hunted from that day, on the run with his family, and then without them. His only hope is to stay alive and free until he can become the hunter himself.

ANYWHERE IS POSSIBLE

"Jumper" is a major motion picture from 20th Century Fox/New Regency Productions, starring Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Lane, and Jamie Bell.

From the Publisher:
Griffin, who possesses a secret ability to teleport to any place he has previously visited, vengefully remembers the men who murdered his parents and plots to avenge himself against the people who would kill him for his powers.

Annotation:
This work of YA science fiction has tremendous crossover appeal for adults, as it is an exciting blend of problem novel, wish fulfillment, and thriller. Seventeen-year-old Davy Rice discovers that he can escape his father's physical abuse by "jumping," or teleporting, away from it. So he does what any teenager possessing such a fabulous power would do: he runs away from his Indiana home to New York City, robs a bank, and begins living in style. But when tragedy once again enters Davy's life, he finds other uses for his jumping ability--dangerous uses, both for him and those he cares about. And while his actions may look like heroism to others, what he's really looking for is revenge.
