From the Publisher:
William Lowell Kane and Abel Rosnovski, one the son of a Boston millionaire, the other a penniless Polish immigrant. Two men, born on the same day, on opposite sides of the world, their paths destined to cross in their ruthless struggle to build a fortune. An unputdownable story, spanning sixty years, of two powerful men linked by an all-consuming hatred, brought together by fate to save-and finally destroy-each other. |
Author Bio
Jeffrey Archer
Jeffrey Archer was educated in Oxford at Wellington School and Brasenose College, during which time he represented Great Britain as a world-class sprinter. He was elected a member of the House of Commons representing Louth in 1969, becoming its youngest member. He stepped down from his post in 1974 with financial troubles brought about by failed investments. He began writing thrillers to help overcome some of his debts, starting with "Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less", which became an immediate success. In 1985 he was appointed deputy chairman of the Conservative Party and in 1992 joined the House of Lords. His political thrillers have become international bestsellers, with millions of copies sold.
