This is the FM Transmitter to get if you have an iPod. Period. It has great sound compared to other FM transmitters, has a display, presets for three unused stations, is white to match the iPod, and charges the iPod too. Before I purchased this one, I bought an iRiver model that looked very similar. The 2 main differences where the sound quality( kensington is much better) and the iRiver plugged into the headset jack so it didn't act as a charger. I've been looking around at a more permenant solution( auxilary cable that plugs into the back of my radio directly to the ipod) but after hearing the sound from the kensington I think I'll drop that idea. Although it would be undoubtedly better, a good one with installation would set me bad about 300 bucks. Plus I can use this in other cars. Whatever you do, don't be suckered into buying anything like the griffin iTrip. I tried a friend's and can say without apology that it is horrible. If you want a cute little piece of junk... that's the fm transmitter for you. Do yourself a favor. Spend an extra 20 bucks and get this kensington model.

I've only had this wonderful little gadget for 24 hours, but I can't imagine life without it. I live in a metro area so I have plenty of radio signals to choose from and the sound is almost perfect. I do have to turn my car's volume up higher than normal but other than that no problems so far. I've also been advised to not have my iPod plugged in when starting and shutting off my car because the surge will eventually fry my iPod battery. Also Buy.com is the cheapest I've found this little gem!
