Kensington Orbit™ Trackball with Scroll Ring - K72337US
The only mouse I'll use9/26/2013
As a massage therapist, I look for ways to prevent strain on the body. Using a regular mouse, I would get fatigue in my arms & shoulders. I discovered this one, and won't use anything else now. Takes some getting used to if you're not used to a trackball, but well worth the effort. I didn't like the wrist rest and never use it, but that's personal preference.
This thing is just great5/26/2013
i'm loving this trackball. it does everything i'd want. the only downside is i had to use heavy duty double sided tape to keep the wrist rest on it. might glue it for good. but thats the only problem i have. otherwise it's all good
Trackball installed easily, functions well, and the scroll ring is very useful. I would recommend this is an excellent general purpose trackball.
I had got this one a month back. I am not so pleased with it after using it. The trackball is smooth and excellent. However, the two buttons are very stiff and a bit sloppy. They are not ergonomic. It is not comfortable to use.

Everyone should own a trackball! I bought this on a BUY.com deal, and am really thrilled. I have very limited desk space, and frog-jumping the mouse just to get from one end of the screen to the other was beyond tedious. Just a flick of the ball sends the cursor in whatever direction you want. The ball has a "Metallic Car Paint" effect, possibly for extra sensitivity of the optical sensor. No rollers=no grit. Sweet! The Scroll-Ring is a neat idea. The ribbed ring around the ball rotates to scroll the page. Setup is ZERO -- just plug and play. Adjustments are via the standard Mouse control panel (Mac and Windows) which is such a relief! CONS: A couple of minor issues... 1) Resolution is not perfect, and there is a bit of pixel-jumping when trying to make very fine movements, such as in graphics work, but only at very fine resolutions. This is not an issue for general use, where it absolutely excels. 2) As it is an ambidextrous model (symmetrical for Left and Right handers), I tend to press the secondary button by accident a bit too frequently. This is my only annoyance, but its because I have it in a tight space and tend to shift it around sometimes, to make room for other things I have on the table.
Worth the money10/7/2010
I bought this to use at work. I mouse all the time and my wrist was hurting. This is AWESOME!! Highly recommend. It doesn't take long to get use to it and I LOVE the scroll feature.
