Overall great, a couple small issues
This is a good monitor stand. It doesn't feel cheap and is flexible and has a little space beneath it, which I liked, and it's big enough but doesn't have a large footprint. However, there are two flaws that I can think of: First, the screws are rounded on top and screw in from the top. That means there are four little bumps (the tops of the screws) on the surface of this stand. If you are planning on putting something on this stand that extends pretty much to the base's edges, be aware that at least part of your monitor (or other item) will be sitting (possibly unevenly) on the rounded screw heads. You could get around this by adding rubber or felt feet to the bottom of whatever you set on it, if you wanted to. The only other flaw is that the plastic leg pieces that snap together to raise the monitor up--which are great in that the concept is simple to understand and you have the flexibility of three quite different height levels to choose from--don't fit together tightly. They are liable to fall apart while you're moving the stand into place on your desk. You can't easily slide the stand without picking it up after you've stuck the included rubber feet onto the bottom of the legs, and then if you lift it up to move it, you find that the legs fall off and apart. This is mainly irritating if you are trying by yourself to both put the stand in place and put your monitor on top of it. That said, once you've got the stand where you want it, you're good to go. For anyone wondering, the "SmartFit" system is nothing fancy. This product comes with a piece of paper with color-coded handprints on it. You put your hand up to measure and see which SmartFit size you are. You are then supposed to set up the monitor stand to a height that the instructions recommend, which is based on your hand size (if I'm following the wordless instructions correctly). This doesn't entirely make sense to me just because your ideal monitor height depends on your desk height, chair height, monitor size, and torso length. I ignored this and just measured where I wanted the monitor to sit.
