To Dana Steele, books and the knowledge they hold are the key to contentment, but now that search for knowledge must include the second key needed to release three souls held captive by an evil god.
Annotation:
This is the second book in Nora Roberts' Key trilogy in which three women (Mallory, Dana, and Zoe) are given 28 days to embark on a dangerous quest. If one of the women should fail, they will all lose their chance to find the key that unlocks each one's destiny and her heart's true desire. Here the bookish Dana is charged with finding the Key of Knowledge--will her quest lead to to the ultimate truth or to her worst nightmare?
Author Bio
Nora Roberts
Nora Roberts didn't become an immediate best-selling author, but once she sold her first novel, she never looked back. A mother of two small children at the time, Roberts began writing in 1979 with a number-two pencil and a spiral notebook. She wrote sporadically while her two sons were at school, a schedule she maintained long after they had grown up and gone to college. Two years and several manuscripts after her initial attempt, her first novel, "Irish Thoroughbred", appeared, the first of over 100 novels she would write in the following two decades. While having dabbled in many of the genre's forms, Roberts has found most of her success writing contemporary romances flavored with both suspense and adventure. The youngest of five children, Roberts grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 1968, she married Ronald Aufdem-Brinke, the father of her two children, but divorced him in 1985, the same year she married her second husband, Bruce Wilder.
