The product is equally excellent. A great deal for 32GB flash drive
Best Drive for the Price12/12/2012
The packaging on the drive says it operates at 10MBPS. It doesn't lie. Although this is good to have a constant transfer rate, it is still 10MBPS. My SanDisk Cruiser normally hits 20-30MBPS. Regardless, there are no problems transfering anything. The opening and closing of the USB dongle is a little strange; it feel like closing it may actually break it. Again, I would recommend SanDisk over this any day of the year, but whatever your preference is.
Exactly what I wanted...3/26/2012
Product was exactly what I wanted and came quicker than expected...
I bought this to carry files back and forth to work. I left it in my pocket and my wife washed and dried it in the drier!!! I thought it was dead and $40 down the drain. Plugged it in my laptop expecting nothing. IT WORKED!!! All files were still there. A great unit and well worth the money!
Cheap but slow7/28/2011
It doesn' support USB 3.0 so copying files takes 10 times as long. I guess they just want to dump old tech.
Died on me after a week of use3/29/2011
I ordered this thumb drive while it was on sale and thought I was getting a great deal. After about a week of use ALL of my computers stopped reading the drive. I tried to reformat the drive and many other methods of getting it to work again to no avail. I would not recommend this drive for anyone.
Bought this at a great price. Was ecstatic about the capacity. The 32gb Sandisk was also on sale but cost a few dollars more so I opted for this. My bad. I like the look of this. The slider idea seemed cool, but it's inconvenient as it slides in and out while in my bag. And I also have problems when inserting it in USB ports because of the slider, I sometimes don't insert it all the way in. And maybe that was the problem? Maybe doing that too many times can cause it to stop functioning? It worked for a while, but then it stopped. I don't know what went wrong. I've had flash drives that I bought 7 years ago that still work, and all but one are Sandisk. I did nothing different with this. Maybe it couldn't handle the loads of file? When it worked, I thought it was faster than the rest. But still, the fact that it stopped working is a huge disappointment. I was so sure this was such a great addition to my thumb drives that I threw away the original packaging, which apparently restricts me from exchanging/returning it. So yes it was easy to use, and the performance was pretty good, while it worked, however, it's of no value to me now as it has become nothing but a piece of stick, so obviously I am now quite unsatisfied. My advice to anyone who buys this, keep the original packaging, just in case.
Going to return1/15/2011
I bought it to carry with me but the problem is with the design. It slides open in my pocket all the time. It doesn't click and hold. Plus when you try to put it into the usb slot it slides forward making it hard to put into the slot. Other wise I really like it.
