I do not recommend these drives
I have purchased 3 of these drives and they work fine for about 3-6 months. I routinely work between Windows 7 and Mac OSX (Snow Leopard and Lion). I have not tried to overclock the drives or altered them in any way. They are formatted Fat32 and continue to work for a while on my Macs, but after some time, they will no longer function on these machines either. I have been able to RMA one drive under warranty with Kingston (the replacement drive has also failed now) -- I will have to work on two more. I have about 2 dozen flash drives that I use on a fairly routine basis. I bought these because I liked the design and I have had good luck with Kingston drives in the past. I would not recommend these drives. They appear to use marginal memory chips from China and I suspect they will fail at a critical time (as they did for me). While I do not have an engineering degree, I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and I hold 2 graduate degrees in other areas (i.e. Neuroscience). I have worked extensively with all versions of Windows, many versions of the Mac OS and several versions of Linux. I routinely use large amounts of storage for functional neuroimaging. I rarely review products, but given the issues I have had with these drives, I wanted to warn people. The design is nice in my opinion, but these are bad drives -- do yourself a favor and try another brand.
