Customer Reviews of Kingston Apple KTA-MB1333/4G 4GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz for Apple iMac and Macbook Pro
Very fast shipment. Memory works perfectly in my mid-2010 iMac. Very easy installation in iMac. It only took about 2-3 minutes to install. Just remove the panel, pop in the chips, replace the panel and you're done. I actually takes longer to unplug iMac from wall and its peripherals than it does to install memory.
Great RAM at a Great Price3/8/2012
This RAM works great in my Mid-2011 iMac. I installed it in under 3 minutes, and it loads perfectly. I was able to max out my iMac to 16GB!! You can't beat that!!
Instant Computer Upgrade7/1/2011
These memory chips were shipped extremely quick, so fast that they had to hold the package at the local FedEx until the expected delivery date arrived. My biggest problem was finding the correct screwdriver, even with a philips head, a small flat standard head works, not any philips I could find. The memory chips snapped in to place on my new mid-2011 new Apple iMac i7 Quad HTT, instantly and perfectly. I had the memory backwards at first, but flipped it and the first DIMM went in very nicely. Repeat on the second and that filled all four of my slots with the original two 2 GB chips, and these two new Kingston chips at 4 GB each, now gives me a total of 12 GB of DDR3 DIMM SoDIMM 1333Mhz RAM on my new iMac i7. Now it purrs so smoothly and the available free RAM is usually around 75% or so. I highly recommend this RAM and it is always advisable to buy your RAM not only in pairs, but all at once. I really should have bought another set of these at the time I bought my first two. Note that you MUST install two of these at a time, and they MUST be identical in specs relating to everything like the speed 1333, DDR3, and SoDIMM.
