Great Value. Get them while they last.7/19/2012
Put this baby in my netbook to get a little bump in battery-life and performance. I would say that I did see some improvement. Pros: 1) It fit in my laptop w/o any mods. 2) Battery life did improve slightly (probably about 10% on average). 3) Boot-time and shut-down time's did reduce noticably. 4) Program loading performance did improve noticably. Cons: 1) File transfer program was not intuative. I ended up using gparted from a live ubuntu flash-drive to shrink my 250GB partition to fit. Then I was able to use the included program. 2) It is really 120GB. 8GB is used for misc. space for the drive. In all, I am very satisfied as it did what I was looking for primarily to save power. I will say that expert users should probably split the partitions 3 ways: 1 - Operating System and Anti-virus program 2 - Windows Vitural Memory (SWAP) file 3 - Compressed partition for applications and user data.
