Kingston's SDHC Ultimate X Class 10 is designed for amateur and professional photographers who need faster speeds to keep pace with their evolving equipment. It allows users to easily capture sequential shots that used to be a challenge due to the speed limitations of memory cards.
Kingston has always been a good brand for memory. This is a great buy.
So Far So Good5/24/2012
I use this on an a spare camera my mother is supposed to use, so I guess it hasn't received as heavy duty use as most people expect. But for what its used for I have no complaints. The locking mechanism stays in place in whatever mode I use it for. and pretty fast too.
Kingston 8GB Class 10 SDHC Memory Card12/4/2011
Kingston 8GB Class 10 SDHC memory card has been performing flawlessly for over 3 months. Response time (read/write) is quick, or is as expected, although it may not be a true class 10. There have been no issues. Folks experiencing errors need to make sure card is formatted for their particular product and not switch from camera to camera. Great value (especially if you can get it for less than $15.00) and I believe it is comparable to other more expensive brands.
It's good and faster.
Great SD card for the price.9/15/2011
I bought these for my CannonT1i camera & they seem to work fine and seem faster than the Class 4 cards that I was using.

These are in use within a Samsung TL-500. Follow up shots are decently quick (though the camera's processor might be partly responsible for that). Other than the speed of the device, and the fact that it hasn't failed, there really isn't much to talk about. The price is quite fair for what it is, so I think it’s a definite must buy. I’d loved to compare it to a class 4 and see if the difference is worth it, but the other cards I have a micro-SD, so they’re not directly comparable (even when used with an adapter). Since they’re cheap enough, stamped with a fairly known brand, you should give these a try.
Not a Class 10 !!! Don't buy this !7/21/2011
This alleged Class 10 SDHC card benchmarks (CrystalDiskMark) at 4-5MB/s R/W when it should be 15-20MB/s. And I know my test program is working fine because I have a WinTec Class 10 card that does benchmark at 15-20MB/s.
This is my first review of any kind or product. I was at first happy with this card. However, After about 20 clickson my Nikon D5000 the card had come with error during my Niagara Falls trip. Luckily I had a backup. So I submitted for a refund. But once I place the card in my Card drive on PC , card was readable. So I deleted a couple for file and my camera would read it again. Again on my NYC trip it again had the same Card error. My Nikon never had any issues with any other card , so it is not a camera related. Unfortunately, the return period also expired. I have not tried reformatting it on a PC. So I will have to try that again. This is the first Kingston product I had issue with.

I also had an error message once. After I inserted it to my PC and formatted it, the card worked fine. It happens sometimes when you delete rather than move the pictures off the card to PC. A great buy for the price.
I bought this for my Nikon D7000 for its read write speeds. But during my sons baseball game it would keep giving error messages. The camera has never had this problem before, I requested a replacement card, I hope that I had a rare bad card and I will repost if the new card is better.
Great SD Card!6/8/2011
Everything I hoped for at an excellent price!
Product arrived on schedule as advertised
I bought this for my wife so she can shoot longer video using her Canon S95. It does the job and transfers files quickly.
