Klipsch Image S47/23/2013
Sound and Quality is okay. I also have a Titan and it is a bit louder. Suppresses some of ambient noise enough for you to enjoy any audio.
Price/Sound Quality Ratio. Great full sound with excellent bass, but not too deep like the Bose. Great mid and high level's excellent for all different types of music.
Relief for noisy cubicle-land5/2/2012
I bought these to help with productivity loss at work, due to the overall noise level in the cube farm. They don't completely eradicate the noise like active noise-cancelling would, but they come closer than I thought they would. They reduce the chatter to incomprehensible background noise so I can concentrate while immersed in music. They are very comfortable, I wear them all day. My only complaint is that the cord isn't long enough (approximately 50 inches from plug to buds).
Rocking headphones/ear buds for small ears3/28/2012
Fit: I have small ear canals and standard ear buds would never seat right and kept falling out. Did some research for headphones/ear buds for small ears, read through tons of reviews. These fit perfectly in smaller ear canals. Sound quality: I chose these after careful review and determination from serious audiophiles. If you want to spend under $100 for high quality headphones/ear buds that are balanced (crisp audio in high/mids/lows with no muddled audio) THESE ARE THE ONES YOU WANT!!!
Klipsch Image S4 Earbuds Rock!!!3/22/2012
The Klipsch Image S4 are outstanding! They are very comfortable and the sound is simply awesome. The clarity and range is superb! I can't believe the bass response that comes out of these tiny little speakers, it's crazy. If you prefer a more natural/truer sound to your music, you'll love these. If you want over-driven bass, then you'll want something like Beats.
Klipsch Image S4 Is An Excellent Buy3/22/2012
I love just about every product Klpsch makes and this one is no exception. The packaging was excellent, easy to first setup and use and they have excellent sound while blocking out most background noise.
Not Worth It -- No Bass at all, Tinny Highs1/3/2012
People say these headphones have SOOO much bass, etc etc etc. Let me tell you one thing, they do not. I was SHOCKED that they were so low on bass after everyone mentioned that they were so bass-heavy. Even after changing EQ settings to heavy bass, the headphones were hardly producing enough bass to even out the tin-like highs. Mid-range was okay and so was the noise isolation, but these were NOT loud enough and there was definitely NOT enough bass. I suggest going with a cheap pair of Sennheiser's (my CX300 II phones rocked much harder than these and were $25). Sure the Klipsch sounded clear and nice, but I could hardly hear them and the lack of bass was just too disappointing for me across all music genres. Very happy with my new Bose ie2's... blow the Klipsch away.
Not worth the price11/22/2011
These to do not cancel ambient sound as the product is described to do. They deliver nice sound and all, but they should be $30, not $65. I wanted headphones to cut down the noise in my office and I've been ripped off.
These earphones are the best I've heard. Full rich sound, spanning through all ranges. Factor in the price and this deal simply can't be beat. Awesome bass. Get it now.
I have owned 6 different pairs of $100 range earbuds and these are the most comfortable, the cord also seems very sturdy compared to most of the other models I have owned. The sound however is absolutely awful, mids and highs seem to be almost nonexistant and the overemphasized lows sound very washed out and grainy. I will be staying away from Klipsch for a while.
Excellent sound and well worth the money10/6/2010
I had done a lot of research before buying the Image S4. The sound quality and noise isolation is awesome. You can enjoy your music even with low volumes on your player and still not hear any outside noise. You can clearly hear every musical instrument in your music. Cons : The ear piece bodies are a bit huge. They protrude out of the ears. The wires are also very thin. But with the sound quality that you get from these, these are not a turn off at all!
Trouble in paradise6/5/2010
I read a lot of reviews about the Image S4s before buying them to replace my lost $20 Sennheiser CX150s. They do sound pretty good, but I find the bass a little excessive and the highs a little weak. It is a major struggle for me to get them into my ears with the wires down unless I swap left and right. The way my ears are built, I find the best way to wear the Image S4s is to run the wires up and behind my ears. In this configuration they are easy to insert, very comfortable, and provide excellent noise isolation. The earpiece bodies are pretty big, especially compared to the Sennheisers. With the CX150s I could sleep on my side with no discomfort. That will be absolutely impossible with the Image S4s. One last thing- the storage case is made of steel, not aluminum.
