Not a Bad All in One from Kodak
I bought this all in one to replace an old Epson printer and an old Epson scanner - there was nothing wrong with the scanner, except there were no Vista Drivers. I got rid of the printer because ink was $60+! So this Kodak 6150 solves my connection issues (I am using the hard wire ethernet) and ink is only $27! The device lacks slots to plug CF cards or SD cards, so you can't print direct from them, but that is not an issue for me. I don't think it prints anywhere near the speed Kodak claims, but it prints documents fast enough for me. I don't really print a lot of photos, but that is slow. I really love the hardwire ethernet connection and the Kodak software, I can scan a document or photos from any of my computers and I can print from any of my computers (I have a mixed WinXP and Vista environment). The fax features and document scanner seem to work fine for the few faxes I sent so far. The scanner lacks all the settings I had on the Epson, but the Epson was a hard core photo and negative scanner, but I am not displeased with the quality of the scans from this Kodak. I would recommend this unit to anyone trying to save desk space and needs a pretty good scanner and a pretty good printer, and you get a full fledged fax to boot! The added plus is that to replace the ink is only $27!
