Almost sent this back, but happy now
The card installed without a hitch, but then I loaded the software. My machine was well above the requirements, and the software installed without error. But when I tried to open the Home Theater, the drive would churn for about a minute and nothing. I tried re-installing with the virus protection turned off. Still the same. I sent an email to the company support (You fill out an online form), but no response. I was ready to request an RMA, when I added an additional drive that I received that morning. I also received a DVD which I watched. With the Windows Media still open and the new drive formatted and ready to go, I thought I would give the Home Theater program one more try, and what do you know? The first time configuration came up and after going through the settings, I was able to get the Home Theater to run! I don't know if the problem was too little drive space (14gig free on one drive, 18 gig free on the other, 300 on the new), or if the Windows Media Player (Beta 11) was a factor. Anyway, it works fine now.
