You will not get your rebate2/15/2008
KWorld is well known of not honoring their rebates and Buy.com is no help in this regards. So if you are going to buy any KWorld product, do not count on getting the rebate.

Do not buy2/1/2008
While it's easy to use it stops working in 2009. It will not tune ATSC which is really glaring omission for this expensive price. ATSC is required by 2009.
Just a heads up, this is an analog tuner and will only work for about 1 year in th US. You'll need a digtal ATSC tuner starting next February.
out of sync1/26/2008
I am not really satisfied with the picture quality of this tuner while viewing. It appears washed out, however the recorded picture is much improved and I could live with that if the sound was not so out of sync. It appears the longer it records the more out of sync it gets so I can't correct it with my dvd authoring software. The problem I'm trying to correct now is not everything it records is out of sync. I'm running dual core intel and not using the computer for anything else while recording so I am really confused by this. I don't know if it is a software or hardware problem.
Works great with provided software, but not well w5/29/2007
With the dual tuner operating off one input jack the tuner does not operate with Windows Media Center well, The driver was semi dificult to install but once downloaded and installed worked well. An updated copy of the software (not the driver) was nessisary to keep computer from Freezing up but it too worked well with the available downloadable software. All in all I'm pleased with the Hardware package. Works well with vista and the quality of picture is nice. It has a better picture than my ATI All-in-wonder had, by far. Plus, ATI has failed to provide an updated driver to thier hardware that was recently purchased within the past year. I chose KWORLD FOR IT'S PCIE 1X adapter (allowing faster throughput and definition, and because it wasn't ATI's hardware. I'm very pleased. You can watch two chanels simutaniously without problem or interference. no static or hanging. Plus it allows import through svideo and audio input jacks. Allowing video import from vid cam or vcr. Very nice..
Two channels..that's all.2/15/2007
I dont own this tuner however I own 2 other Kworld Tuners and I have been very happy with them. They are the ATSC110 tuners that allow the reception of your local OTA Hi-Def channels that you can get for free. They are installed in our media center computer which feeds a Mitsubishi projector. The picture is spectacular and HUGE at 96" diagonal measure. The tuner here is a dual tuner where you can record one channel and watch another at the same time. Or record two channels simultaneously.
