A fair price
Okay, first off, I had a Packard Bell from 1995 with a TV Card that I feel was/is better then this. Not much, but better. However, with that being said, I do like this. Here is a portable solution that performs well even with a weak cable signal. Unlike a lot of negative reviews I read, my setup was very simple. No additional files needed to be downloaded from the internet. I haven't used it's "pseudo TIVO" function, but I presume it will be acceptable, though I didn't buy this device for recording. Also something that you hardly find mentioned anywhere is that this is also has a radio tuner that gets EXCELLENT reception even without the antenna attached. Overall, I wish that the audio would come though the USB and not require a seperate audio cable. I also wish this device would be powered by USB and not require an additional power adapter. The remote is also a little weak in signal strength and design, as well as the unit is a little slow to respond. It you are a major channel flipper you will notice this and it will become an annoyance. I was able to purchase this for $19 after rebate, and for a price like this, it was well worth it. For its regularly listed price, I would hold off because it's not very competitive pricing for the subpar quality.
