Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this unit. Everything works as was expected except during initial setup. I wasn't sure if I had a bum box or not becuase it took about 30 seconds for the unit to do anything once connected, which was not expected. Also, I like how compact the unit is and how easy it was to figure out what should go where, even though the manual is not all that helpful...it's not bad, just a little skimpy. The only drawback on this unit is that there is only one A/V connection and I am not sure how to ensure that I can have each of my devices (DVD, PS2, and VCR) connected with sound! So far, I can only get sound through one connection, which is to be expected because the other available connection (S-video) doesn't also provide sound. I should be able to route everything through my VCR, but none of this is covered in the manual. In other words, don't expect that you can just pull out this device and have it up and running with all of your stuff (if you have more than one or two things to connect) in two seconds...it might be a little less straightforward than implied. Still a great unit for the price though!

This is ok if you have cable, because the tuner is kind of weak; its good for DVD watching, especially at a high resolution. It does come with most cables needed to install, with the exception of a coaxial cable. Just a note though, this will NOT make your tv a high definition system (HD), as claimed in the buy.come page, as it does NOT include an internal HD signal converter. Overall, its a nice little device for everyday tv watching.
