Netbooks have evolved from gadget-status to must-have lifestyle devices. More features, better wireless options, hi-def widescreens, choice of processors and cool tablet minis with touch-panel displays.
Customer Reviews of Lenovo IdeaPad 06472AU 10.1" Netbook, Intel Atom N455 (1.66GHz), 1GB DDR3 Memory, 160GB HDD, Intel GMA 3150, 802.11b/g/n, Windows 7 Starter
This laptop has a good feel to it, nice keyboard and pretty good battery life. Overall Im pretty satisfied with this laptop, but I recommend a few additions: Upgrade the RAM to 2gb, and upgrade the Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home or greater, and get a usb mouse as the trackpad gets rubbed quite a bit while typing causing the cursor to jump all over the screen, and select/overwrite what you are typing - which is extremely annoying. Id recommend this laptop, especially for a student.
Best keyboard among netbooks11/14/2010
Lenovo hit a home run with this netbook. The keyboard is the easiest to use among the netbooks out there. The design allows for lots of space between the keys, and the two full sized shift keys make typing a breeze. I tried using the Acer. But the shift key on the right side was an afterthought and only half the normal size. I kept hitting the wrong key. The screen is bright and the sound is fantastic. I regularly get six hours of battery life out of this netbook. I have had it for two weeks now and it is fantastic. Only complaint is that I hate where they put the power button on the left side of the screen. I have turned it off by accident a couple of times now. I am getting used to it now and avoid handling the screen there.
Great Value! Works Good11/7/2010
Everything works well right out of the box. Battery life is far better that my other laptop. Only thing is the touchpad is hard to use, sooo..... I have hooked up an optical mouse and that solves the problem. Would suggest to a friend. Thanks, BUY.com you came through again! I'll be back for more in the future. Thanks, Mike Vancouver, WA.
