This is exactly what I was looking for in a laptop; lightweight, fast, good battery life and plenty of outputs (2x 2.0 USB, 2x 3.0 USB, HDMI ....)
The keyboard has been a little tough to get used to but I do appreciate all of the function keys including volume, screen minimizing and instant disabling of the touchpad.
I hate touchpads in general and disabled most of the functions on mine. Also updated all of the drivers through Lenovo, not Microsoft, as soon as I got it so I haven't had wireless or touchpad problems.
The major problems I have stem from my extreme hatred of Windows 8. I've customized things a lot to try and make it more usable but I still have daily problems. I also had to remove a heck of a lot of bloatware when I first got things running. Come on Microsoft, if I wanted to only use apps I'd sit on my phone all day. However, this has nothing to do with the actual computer which is why I gave it 4 stars. If this was a Windows 8 review it would get a 1 star, because I'm feeling generous.
TL;DR Functional, sleek, fast, all the outputs you could want, Windows 8 is meant for tablets and should stay there
Had windows 7 running on this but changed the OS to Linux. Runs Ubuntu very well - only tweaked a few things. The mouse is a little jumpy but there are fixes for that. Very much worth the money. One thing I really don't like is that the backspace key is TINY and drives me kind of insane. The keyboards takes some getting use to - it's more like a mac laptop keyboard, which isn't really what I'm use to. Didn't have problems with the internet connection and also got a bigger HDD than expected. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
