At the top of the list
The first USB drive I ever purchased was a Lexar JumpDrive Secure 256MB. Like my first one, these two perform just like it -- perfectly right out of the gate. I plug them in, wait a few seconds to get recognized by the OS (Windows XP SP2) and they're good to go. Typically I have to wait a bit longer for my PNY 2GB Attache (2nd on my list). The drive is incredibly small so I could very easily plug it in and forget it was there if I were to close the front USB panel door on my Dell Optiplex GX260. They're better in the physical design more slender compared to my wider 256MB which helps in plugging these drives in tight spaces. I only gave it a low score of 1 because I managed to get these drives for $25.00 each after rebate. I'd say wait for sale to get these, but if you can't wait you won't be sorry about their performance. Also these drives have no security software to protect your data. If they're lost, your saved data is out in the open so don't lose them or leave them plugged in the PC.
