The best juicer you can get in this price range. Since it's a masticating juicer, you'll extract as much juice as possible - more than centrifugal juicers. At this price, you can't go wrong. Requires a little elbow grease, but it's not straining at all. The handle moves very easily since it's so large and has all that leverage behind it to torque the cylinder. Suction works well to adhere the juicer to flat countertops while juicing. Works for grasses, leafy greens, and hard fruits. Basically, anything but bananas, berries, and anything else that you can mush with your hands. I've done cucumber, wheatgrass, apples, carrots, spinach, parsley, ginger, celery, kale, beets, lettuce, and lemon, all with no trouble. It takes me about 45 minutes to make 9 servings (3 days) of juice at a time. Cleanup takes about 2 minutes. The pulp makes great compost or animal feed. A few tips: runs the pulp through the juicer a second time to extract any leftover juice; cut large fruit and veg up into smaller pieces (the smaller the better); go slowly with the crank handle; start with fibrous produce, then alternate between fibrous and less fibrous fruit & veg, and then end with fibrous (eg. celery, apple, celery, apple, lettuce, lemon, beets).
