Excellent price performer - works fine
This is your basic Ethernet switch. Nothing fancy, but a good value for under $100. The cables come in the back and the LED port status indicators are on the front, so the LEDs are easy to see. The switch has holes in the bottom so that it can be attached to a tabletop (or a wall), which is almost a necessity when you have a physically light device such as this with 16 cables running into it. The power supply is a separate "brick" with a connector that plugs into the switch, but there's no lock on the connector, so it could be easily pulled loose in some environments, which is a minor flaw. It continued to work fine after abruptly being removed from power and reconnected several times (which is something I do to all equipment to make sure that it won't need human intervention following a power failure). Bottom line: If you need a basic 16 port switch, this will work fine for you.
