Author Bio
Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly was born of working-class Irish heritage and grew up in Levittown, New York. He attended Marist College and then taught high school. After two years of teaching he enrolled in Boston University, where he got a master's degree in journalism. O'Reilly began a career in journalism and gained nationwide recognition as the host of Inside Edition. THE O'REILLY FACTOR is the name of both his television program and the best selling book of opinions and commentary. O'Reilly also wrote a thriller called THOSE WHO TRESPASS, about a detective who teams up with a female newscaster. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was invited to pursue post-graduate study at Harvard's prestigious John Kennedy School of Government.
