I replaced my D-Link wireless G router with the refurbished Linksys E1000. I hooked the Linksys to my Dell desktop and Qwest DSL modem--no problems. Then I tried to sync with my other two client wireless routers which are connected to Blu Ray DVD players. I spent the next 8 hours attempting to get the Linksys to recognize them. What a painful process that was. I ended up having to reset to factory defaults on both clients and doing lots of web research for workarounds to the poorly implemented Cisco Connect software. I also discovered that my DLink G Router is incapable of being a wireless client so now I have to buy another wireless access point. Ugh! Cisco Connect and ELink 1000 did work flawlessly with my laptop, however, since the laptop allows you to enter a router name and passphrase unlike my Blu Ray DVD players which only allow you to input IP addresses and subnet masks.
