This has got to be one of the easiest pieces of equipment to set up and use. I currently use this for System Link games on the X-Box with my neighbor (a ghetto 'X-Box Live' system). Considering that is has to go through 2 exterior walls to connect with his Wireless game adapter and the fact that I can put the controller nearly anywhere and connect is pretty incredible. Only drawback is the occasional dropped frame in the middle of an intense Halo match up. If you can plug in a power cord and a phone cord you don't even need to read the directions. EXCELLENT VALUE.

This is the greatest invention for the XBOX! I've been using mine for about a year now. I recommend this one over the wireless G model because B gets better reception in general and you won't even be using a fraction of the 10MBS because most high speed internet connections are slower than 3MBS. I'll just say straight up that if you are connecting to a wireless network with WEP (Wireless Encryption), you may struggle setting the encryption properties the first time. It really isn't too difficult once you have done it a couple of times though. You have to set it up by plugging it into your personal computer first and running the included software CD from Linksys. You can set up three individual WEP profiles. I have one of mine set for my home network and another for a buddy of mine so when I go to his house I'm connected to his wireless router. Don't lose your CD from Linksys though because I couldn't find the installation software on the Linksys website. Anyway, buy it and you'll love it.

Product Overview

The Wireless-B Game Adapter gives any wired-Ethernet-equipped game console wireless connection capabilities. The Game Adapter can be used in two different ways. If you have an existing home wireless network with a cable or DSL Internet connection, the Game Adapter lets your PlayStation2, Xbox or GameCube attach to the network so you can get into online games without running wires to the game room. Or, use a pair of Game Adapters to form a "cable-less cable" between two game consoles for head-to-head gaming -- in the same room, or all the way across the house.
