| Little Britain is the sketch comedy sensation that has taken the world by storm, winning three BAFTAs, including the 2004 award for Best Comedy Series, and the prestigious Golden Rose of Lucerne, Europe's highest comedy honor! This incredible collection brings together every outrageous episode plus Little Britain Live and Little Britain Abroad! Welcome to Little Britain, a strange and surreal parallel universe peopled by over-the-top eccentrics and social misfits. Meet trash-talking delinquent Vicky Pollard, who traded her baby for a Westlife CD ("yeah but no but yeah"), rubbish transvestite Emily Howard ("I'm a laydee") and her mustachioed friend Florence, committed homosexualist Dafydd Thomas ("I'm the only gay in the village"), Carol "Computer Says No" Beer, Andy ("I want THAT one"), sitting all day in his wheelchair painstakingly looked after by Lou, who has no idea his friend can walk, and many more! It's the breathtaking debris of modern society, brought to life entirely by creators Matt Lucas and David Walliams. Also featuring Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), the voice of Tom Baker (Doctor Who), and a host of special guests including Elton John, Kate Moss, George Michael, Robbie Williams, Dawn French, and Steve Coogan, Little Britain is an international phenomenon. Find out why this extraordinary collection! |

Editor's Note
An odd, distinctly British sketch show, LITTLE BRITAIN rose to become one of the most popular comedy shows in its native U.K. Starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams in a variety of guises, each sketch features a unique take on the minutiae of British life. Imitating people from various walks of life, Lucas and Walliams grotesquely exaggerate them for comedic effect; their chirpy yet deliberately irritating character Vicky Pollard even spawned a catchphrase that seeped into everyday use in Britain ("yeah, but no, but yeah!"). In a further twist, former DOCTOR WHO actor Tom Baker provides voiceover duties for a number of sketches, with his booming, Shakespearean tones adding a further aberration to the absurdist mêlée. LEAGUE OF GENTLEMAN fans should find plenty of amusement in this well-observed set of caricatures, with the folk who populate LITTLE BRITAIN offering a sprightly counterpart to the dark and devious inhabitants of Royston Vasey. This collection includes every episode from the show.
