|He catches bullets in his hand, snatches innocent citizens from the jaws of death, and zooms bombs, toxic chemicals and other deadly whatnot deep into outer space. But just when you think nothing can overwhelm Superman, love brings him to his knees.|
Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher are back for the thrilling second season of new adventures. Action reigns as the Man Of Steel unleashes chop-'till-you-drop martial arts moves to battle the mysterious Chi Master, pits his mighty powers against the firepower of resurrected '30s mobster Al Capone, and mows down a perp walk of twisted-genius bad guys who challenge him with a lethal array of threats, theft, murder and mayhem. Super hero, Super action, you've got 'em both.
Editor's NoteBuilding on the Superman myth, this television series from the 1990s centers on the young adult life of Clark Kent (Dean Cain) in the modern-day city of Metropolis. While struggling to balance his Superman duties with his job working for the Daily Planet, Kent meets and falls in love with fellow reporter Lois Lane. When news breaks of Superman's existence, however, Lane becomes smitten with the elusive superhero and unaware that Kent and Superman are the same person, wards off Kent's romantic advances. Driven by this odd romantic triangle of sorts, the show also focuses on life around the Daily Planet office, and Superman's battles with a whole host of villains, making it part-romance, part-action/adventure. Every episode from the second season of the show is included here.

Lois & Clark A+5/22/2011
This is the show that reinvented Superman in the 90's, and inspired Smallville. Plus it can't hurt that Terri Hatcher, the hottest thing around plays Lois & Lane. Special effects are cheesy for first half of Season 1, but as their budget grew, so did the Sp. Effects quality. It's still 90's, and not cutting edge at today's standards, but it definitely improved as the show went along. Dean Kain is a great Superman, and a loveable character. John Shea also played a satisfactorily devious Lex Luthor, and even better, was a constant rival scheming to make Lois Lane his! Great show, and alot of fun. Plenty of other interesting villians, too. I own all 4 Seasons.
