[Too] Too Many Girls is an adorable film, very fun to watch. The cast had a great time during filming and it shows. Lucille looks gorgeous and her entrance in the movie is very cute. She walks up to a restaurant and standing outside is one of the waiters (played by Desi). She nods her head to greet him, and stunned by her beauty, he faints. I only wish the two of them had more scenes together! The supporting cast is wonderful too, and there was a lot of camaraderie on the set. The director, George Abbott, Eddie Bracken, Ann Miller and Van Johnson all became life-long friends of Lucille and Desi's.

Ozus' World Movie Reviews 6 of 10
[Long] The film was a commercial success despite using rehashed material from their show and offering nothing fresh. What can you say? If you like the couple, this film should be on your must-see list. As for me, I found it grating--an awful movie, but one that is essential viewing to understand the middle-class idea of happiness through sitcoms and their love affair with these dumb kind of shows. It has everything you want to know about this genre: a castrating wife, a humiliated husband figure, consumerism at its ugliest, and witless comedy built around the couple's misunderstandings that serves as both a means of denigration and love. - Dennis Schwartz

[Forever] The film uses an I Love Lucy format, depicting a couple whose marriage comes under strain through misunderstood intentions and inherent clumsiness, and it makes good use of the stars' comical talents. James Mason also has a very funny part, portraying himself in a make-believe movie and also lurking around as Ball's guardian angel. The color transfer looks fine. The source material has some very minor wear marks on it, and the flesh tones are a little too pale at times, but for the most part, the Technicolor colors look bright and the picture is sharp. - Doug Pratt
