This unit has out dated maps. For interstate traveling it is great. Get off the main road. and you will find sub divisions missing. The map is # 41. There will not be an update until sometime in 2012, as per tech support. on 12/07/12. Screen is great, but not worth the money because of the maps. I needed this to get to my homebound patients. To many problems. Can't find afford to lost a patient because of outdated maps.

Great Option if you need a Backup Camera Integrate

by Jeff Rance, II on 2/6/2012

I purchased this GPS because I needed to get a backup camera and GPS and this was about the only option that would fit the bill. It is a larger unit, so it takes up a decent amount of windshield view (I had it wired to the Driver's A-Pillar). Suprisingly, it does not have Speed Limits for roads, but it does allow you to add multiple destinations and has FREE Lifetime Traffic & Map Updates. While it's not perfect, it is a very good, overall, package. The Magellan Content Manager for your PC could be easier to use, though (for Updates, etc.). Read More
