| "The dys-FUN-ction continues with the less-than-loveable Bundys! Peggy switches seats with Al at a basketball game, and ends up being chosen for the $10,000 free throw contest. Kelly and Bud buy a car to share, and then are forced to double dare. Everyone thinks Bud has flipped out when they overhear him speaking with his ""cool"" alter-ego. Due to a hospital mix-up, Al is accidentally circumcised after he's injured playing baseball. Al could get a brand new car as his old Dodge nears 999,999 miles, but can he hold out? Al (Ed O'Neill), Peggy (Katey Sagal), Kelly (Christina Applegate) and Bud (David Faustino) return for 26 more episodes of crass-kicking fun and laughter in Married...with Children: The Complete Eighth Season on three discs." |

"...a brash, occasionally brilliant sitcom about the trials and tribulations of your far from typical white trash nuclear family. Bill Gibron, DVD Verdict

Editor's Note
The Bundy saga continues with the eighth season of this long-running, trend-setting sitcom. Staunchly underachieving, antisocial, and utterly hilarious, the Bundy family is headed up by shoe salesman Al (Ed O'Neill), who fondly looks back upon his better days as a high-school superstar. His wife, Peg (Katey Sagal), is a curvaceous shopaholic, daughter Kelly (Christina Applegate) is a blonde bombshell with a low IQ, and her brother Bud's (David Faustino) anomalous intelligence doesn't prove helpful with the ladies. The adventures continue with this eighth collection of episodes in which the kids must double date after co-purchasing a car, and in which Peggy risks social humiliation when she stands in for Al at a basketball game.
