Smoker's a big plus
We got this after TurkeyDay, so tried ribs instead. Haven't done a turkey yet. They cooked in about the same time as the oven, came out about equally tender. Cleaning up the basket was a big problem. I'd recommend soaking it as SOON as you pull the meat. The thing that made it all worthwhile was the smoker box. I soaked smoking chips and filled it about 3/4 full. It made billows of smoke when I opened the top, and flavor that soaked thru the meat. I'm looking forward to smoked turkey.
