Author Bio
Lawrence Sanders
After earning a B.A. from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Lawrence Sanders wrote and edited for a number of magazines including "Mechanix Illustrated" and "Science and Mechanics". His first novel, "The Anderson Tapes", appeared in 1970 and is a compilation of fictional documents and transcripts tracing the electronic surveillance of a shady real estate deal. His best-known protagonist is NYPD Captain Edward "Iron Balls" Delaney, a tough cop featured in a series of police procedurals, including one of Sanders's most popular novels, "The First Deadly Sin".
