Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.

Customer Reviews of Medal of Honor
The campaign has some glitches, some that shouldn't have made it past testing, but oh well, there are a few in every game that comes out. The story is great. Graphics are average for the campaign, & above average, but not the best, for multiplayer. The online is constantly compared to MW2 which is very different, there are no "steady aim" perks that allow u to wildly spray ammo around
Great game, but...11/9/2011
It was an absolute blast to play this game, but in an age where Call of Duty dominates the scene, it is very hard to compare. There's a great single player/campaign mode, but unfortunately the game lacks on the multiplayer side. My experiences with COD has been much better, simply due to the sheer volume of players on the COD servers. $20 is a great value for this game, so if you're looking for a chance of pace, don't hesitate to pick this game up!
Great single player doesn't make up for boring mul6/14/2011
As someone who is very familiar with special forces and how they operate, I was very impressed with the realism in which the single player campaign was crafted. There was a never a moment in which I thought any portion of the game was truly out of the question. You only play if Afghanistan so don't expect to play in every single environment like every other FPS. You'll be trudging around dirt houses in the mountains and sneaking through the snow. Overall, it's a great story and the graphics are impressive. The multiplayer however is pretty boring. It basically consists of maps that are too large with people sniping across it. None of the maps lend themselves to any kind of tactics and the weapons available are mostly ineffective. I also had a really hard time picking out the enemy players from the scenery. That may be realistic but I'm looking for playability!
In some ways, like it more than CODMW2...at least the multiplayer...more realistic.
