Customer Reviews of MEElectronics M9 In-Ear Headphones - Black
Sound is crisp. Bass is solid and phones are comfortable and block as much outside noise as you want to by adjusting insertion / fit.
Good product at a great price.
Great headphones for the price!5/1/2013
I'm very pleased with this purchase. They sound great and I don't have to crank the volume too high in order to isolate noise. I look forward to hearing them once they burn in.
Cheap but excellent quality8/24/2012
M9 has a solid feel and an impressive sound. The cables are very durable and the design is also good. The unpleasant thing about M9 is the micro phonics but as long as you are not always on the move it will be okay. These earphones are good substitute for free earphones included in most cellphones and music players. If you want cheap good quality earphones, this is for you.
Best Value. Buy them now.1/26/2011
I bought these after reading the recomendations of a headphone website. So far I am very happy with my purchase. They sound great. MUCH beter than the Koss ear buds they replaced. And they were cheaper too! One great thing about the m9's is that the bass DOES NOT OVERPOWER everything else. The mids and treble are nice and clear too. That makes it nice for me since I switch back and forth between music and audiobooks. These are great quality! I was surprised to find that they are actually made of metal. They seem to be very durable. There are only two things I don't like. First, the rubber ear tips fall off too easily. I've already lost one of the fantasticly comfortable and secure double flanged ear tips. (They come with several pairs of tips of various sizes) Second, I don't like the clip that comes attached to the cable. It catches on things and the cable gets tangled in it. Anyone looking in the $20 range should stop looking and start buying. Have less than $20? Then buy the Mee m2's. They don't sound quite as smooth as the m9's (although they do have more bass) but the quality is still unbelievable for the price.
I had a budget of $20. Was searching for good earphones since my cx-300 and ep-630 broke. M9 is a cut above this two. Clear, punchy bass with cx-300 like quantity and quality that could rival a $100 earphones. Mid's are a bit recessed but i expect it to get better with burn-in. Treble doesn't get overpowered by bass but is still a bit weak. Still the best earphones money can buy.
Quality product Great Deal. Not enough bass for my taste.
Best IEM under $40 I've ever heard9/12/2010
For ANYONE looking to spend less than $40 for a pair of in-ear headphones, there really should be no question. These earbuds offer crazy good value in sound quality, accessories and general pricing. They are available for $20 at most places where you can find them. Before these M9's, I had no idea who Me-Electronics was. Despite this, I read great reviews and tried a pair and found them to be excellent.
They were good, but they didn't have the deep Bass I was looking for. Otherwise, they're very light, and they come with a nice bag for travel.
Great value, Excellent sound8/18/2010
Well made, comfortable, excellent sound for this price range. Crisp highs, clear midrange and solid bass. Several sizes of slip-on adapters, outstanding noise isolation, average booming.
Easier (and more affective) than noise canceling8/18/2010
I purchased these hoping they would be a good choice to use while mowing the grass. I had considered noise-canceling headphones but due to expense and bulk, I never went in that direction. These headphones were exactly what I was looking for though! They are very light-weight, work as ear plugs to block out noise, and have good sound quality. I recommend these to anyone working in a noisy environment, where it's safe to block out background noise.
After many frustrating events with the usage of IPOD original equipment, I decided to upgrade to this reasonably priced sound isolating headphone. What a difference! Now I can actually hear my music, my phone calls, etc. over any background noises. Sure it reduces the awareness of my surroundings (who wants background noise in an airplane?) so I use it in only one ear for my "hands free" phone calls. This is a solid bargain as the quality of the sound is excellent
An alternative to noise cancellation earplugs, but4/28/2010
The reception is crisp and the earplugs are lighter than noise cancellation plugs with the battery pack attached to the cord, but they don't give the same rich quality reception nor do they block out external noise. Maybe that's the difference between "sound isolation" and "noise cancellation." Bottom line: I'm very happy with the product.
awesome esp for the price4/19/2010
I've gone thru quite a few earbuds, and most of them fall short. For my tastes, skull candy's are muddled, sennheisers break easily, klipsh fit poorly and were watery, v-moda's were waay too bassy. about the only ones I've liked so far are etymotics; I have the er-6i's for everyday and the er-4's for home listening. These $17 MEE's put a smile on my face. Good throughout the range, not muddy or tinny. My only complaint is that they could fit better. The interchangeable rubber thingys don't stay in as well as I'd like. I wish I could fit the er-6i's flange on them. But for this price, I've never been happier. Usually the stuff on buy.com is 2nd rate stuff that doesn't sell elsewhere and I've made too many purchases where one little thing ruined the whole deal. But not in this case. Thanks MEE
