Great price...No problems!10/25/2011
I have purchased several spindles of these and never had an issue so far. I am not sure why one of the other reviewers was having issues other than it looked like they were using this product for corporate data storage use so maybe these are not so reliable for that. I only use mine for movies of different formats including blu-ray and never had a problem.
Great product, great price1/15/2011
I've used Memorex BD-Rs ever since I purchased my Blu-Ray burner 6 months ago. They have performed flawlessly. Buy.com has consistently had the best prices.
do not buy - complete loss of data after a few mon1/13/2011
I tried submitting a review and it still has not shown up. research this media online. It is Rytek brand discs with a memorex label. Our company suffered major loss from these discs. they worked perfectly when we first burned them, then months later we started having read errors at all of our 6 locations. The data would then just disappear! Imagine thousands of dollars worth of data just going poof! I called Memorex, they just wanted me to send the discs back. there is a reason these discs are so cheap, Memorex cant get rid of them! Instead of destroying them, they are looking for more victims to sell these to. These may be harsh words, but they caused us to write a company policy that under no circumstances are Memorex disc ever to be used for backups again. Be warned! be warned!
Do not buy - many crashed disks - complete loss of1/13/2011
Memorex has bought Ritek and rebranded them as theirs. Our company lost data on over 30 of these discs, and memorex doesnt care. they only said send them back to us for a refund. They acted like they never heard about any problem until I pushed their rep to go talk to someone while I wait, Low and behold they knew about the problem. Research these on line before you buy, they suddenly act like an empty disc with complete loss of data, that is why they are being dumped at such a low price. Be warned!!!
