I saw this in the Tech Deals e-mail on special and decided to buy 2. I’m glad that I did because they are handy and work for my needs. We can charge my phone, camera, and Nintendo DS in the car now. This one is the 1 amp model, Buy.com sells a 2.1 amp model for larger portable devices. It looks like they also have a 2-pack. Search ChargeBlock for other options. I will probably buy the 2-pack for our trip and for my car. Buy with confidence with a 3-year warranty. These appear to be well constructed. No cables are included so you will need to supply your own USB cable. 5 stars for value at the price I paid. Check the amp output on your current AC charger and compare.

I had been looking for an adapter small enough to leave in any of the several outlets in my Cadillac without having to remove it just to close the compartment cover. All of the outlets have small non-removeable covers and leaving them open ment not being able to close the covers. With the ChargeBlocks I can leave them in and close up everything. I did tie a small ribbon to each to make them easier to remove because of the confined spaces of the outlets.
