good mp3 player5/17/2012
The Zune HD is just simply amazing. With the Nvidia Tegra chip and highly capable processor, the potential for this device is endless. The Zune HD is supposed to be a portable gaming platform to compete head-to-head with the Nintendo DS and PSP brands.
this is the best mp3 ive ever seen
i love this Zune, this Zune is as much better deal than any iPod, an 32 GB Zune is roughly the same price as a 8 GB iPod touch. i have never had a problem with it, i used to have an iPod but i switched to Zune because iTunes kept deleting my music so i sold the iPod and got a Zune.
I love my Zune5/1/2010
I totally love my zune. the music players is great, it has amazing quality movies, i love the zune program for the computer (thank God it doesn't use wmp). the only con for it that i can think of is that there are 15 apps for it. total. unless you spend a few hours online trying to get the 3rd party developer thingies installed. i now have about 30 apps on my zune... but overall... this thing is kickass; i love it.
Best Investment I've Ever Made11/7/2009
The Zune HD is not going to disappoint, this is one of the sleekest devices out there and with great performance on top of that. I've had it for a little over a month now and I have absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a great MP3 player the Zune HD is the way to go.
Beautiful Screen, Superb Sound Quality10/8/2009
SOUND QUALITY: Zunes have always excelled in this department and the HD is no exception. The highs and lows are both clear and crisp without a hint of distortion. The included earbuds are nothing spectacular, but there isn't anything wrong with them. You can safely plug this mp3 player into a quality set of speakers and you won't be missing a beat. As long as the music file is great quality, you should be in for a good experience with your playing. ------ CONSTRUCTION: The OLED screen is a pleasure to use. The blacks are black, and the colors are vibrant. Although very light, I have not had a single worry as to breaking this device. It has a solid and durable feel to it, even though it weighs next to nothing. I like the design, and find the 2 buttons to be both easy to use, but also hard to bump unintentionally (this is a good thing).------ TOUCHSCREEN: I've heard many find this touchscreen superior to that of the ipod touch/iphone, but I've not spent enough time with those to compare it. What I can tell you is that its responsive and I've yet to have an issue with it misunderstanding my intentions.------ PHOTO-VIEWER: I got this player mainly for the music and sexy screen, but I found that I will be regularly using it to share photos. The photo-viewer is intuitive and powerful, allowing you to easily and enjoyably surf through photographs you've dumped onto the device. The pinch-zoom feature is very simple, and the accelerometer detects the orientation of the Zune, keeping your pictures right-side-up. I found the photo-viewing capabilities to work wonderfully with the default Zune software, making it very easy to view and transfer photos.------ PLAYBACK: The animations during playback mix in the album art, photos of the band, the track information, and the time remaining in an aesthetically pleasing arrangement. Hitting the side-button allows you to adjust volume, advance the track, or pause your music. Playing games or looking through photos does not interfere with the music playback.------ APPS/GAMES: This is supposed to be the biggest fault of the player. At the time of writing (3 weeks after launch), there are still just 9 apps available for download. 2 Utilities (weather/calculator), and 7 games. All of these are free and functional. Honestly, I won't be using this as a gaming platform, but its certainly great for passing time if I'm stuck somewhere and bored. The loading screen for the games has brief advertisements on it... and the device has received a lot of critique for that, but... its a loading screen. It didn't bother me that they put an ad on it, personally.------ VIDEO/INTERNET: The video quality is great, and the internet usage is fine, but I've spent the least time with these features. Syncing the player wirelessly works well, and getting internet was easy. I've yet to be in a circumstance where this would serve as my default video-player or internet device, though.------ Overall, I'm obviously quite pleased with my purchase.
I had a 1st gen zune and loved it. but this, this is a whole other level of music. Expample: So you are listening to a song, and you want to go to that ablum. Instead of going all the way back to the home page then looking for the artist, just press the artiest name and BAM! your there. these kind of shortcuts are everywhere that the NEED to be, there not overdosed like on some pmps
