For the most part, 2013 works as well if not better than 2010. However, I liked Outlool 2010 better than 2013. 2010 had a nicer way of displaying the Email than 2013. I have been using 2013 for 3 months now, and still prefer the way it displayed 2010 better. It is hard to explain, but the way 2010 displayed the list of emails was just clearer. I have tried many different settings and none are as nice as 2010.
This is an all right software package. I would have given it 5 stars but the fact that you have to register with your Microsoft Live account in order to download the software makes it kind of difficult for an administrator of a network with many computers that have to be updated. The 2010 version was easier because you just bought a PKC and used the same file to install the software. This makes it a lot more difficult.
I've done considerable business with this company over the course of several orders. In all cases they have performed to or above my expectations. If I am purchasing an item and Adorama is the vendor, I have every confidence I will receive what I wanted according to representations made. I have never been disappointed by them.
I bought 8 product keycards locally because I NEEDED to get some machines prepped ASAP for a project... once you buy the card you are then REQUIRED to link it with a (free) Microsoft account; from there you can download a 1mb stub installer that downloads the rest (unless you have a stupid McAfee Webwasher proxy like we do) OR you can click on a link to download a .img file (NOT an ISO) and be given a product key. When I say you can click on the link there is a very important detail there, it is a simple HTTP connection to a 2gb file that for me (on a 10mb fiber connection) was very slow and stopped mid-way with no resume 4 times. I finally had to download it at home on a faster connection and transfer it via USB. WinRAR was able to extract the files for me to install from a USB drive but it still needed each machine to get online to validate the key - what a pain! As far as the actual software, I haven't used it much but it seems to do everything that 2010 did with a few more bells and whistles and lots of stuff moved around.
If I need to buy MS Office, at least there is way cheaper option than retail pricing. This was one of the better prices from a company I could trust (Adorama) and not get scammed like some options from eBay ;)
As always Microsoft office is the best office software suite there is available, I like that it comes with publisher, I don't think it did in the past. Will buy again and again. Would recommend over the 365 unless you are putting it on a tablet. Thank you
Very satisfied with everything expcept I felt product should have been delivered in less than 7 days, but it was delivered in time frame I was told after ordering. Just used to Amazon typically beating estimated time.
MS Office Home and Office 2013 product key. Got the key in a pre-packaged card folder. Downloaded application, and entered key. Had to restart activation twice. Stopped at 15% twice. Don't know why. Was okay after a restart of the PC. Had not expected OneDrive to be available - don't want it currently- had to learn how to block it. An experienced Office user who doesn't plan to use Outlook, but needs it for old activity
