M-Disc works like other DVD's
I purchased M-Disc for its promised archival quality, although I'll have to wait for decades to see if they really last as long as promised. In the mean time, the disc was recognized by my LG drive and was successfully burned as a DVD+R using ImgBurn software. I was then able to play the burned M-Disc in a Sony DVD player. The only downside is that there is no label area and the official M-Disc site recommends only labeling on the inner hub. That's annoying, but good archiving practice.
