Notes & Personnel Info
Muze PNote MIND EXPANDERS VOLUME 1 collects 16 hopelessly obscure and fiendishly deranged oddities from the height of the psychedelic era. This compilation boasts some truly weird music and contains everything from primitive, sitar-led stabs at jazz fusion to deranged South American psych-rock. A nightmarishly distorted take on the The Rolling Stones' psychedelic breakdown, "Have You Seen Your Mother Baby," may be the tamest cut here, but still impresses with its basement-level production values and wanton absurdity.
