Awesome TV

on 4/12/2012

This 92" is very impressive to look at. Coming from a Mitsubishi 73", it is a big upgrade.

What a great deal.

Working great so far. Could not beat the price. Only issue is finding a stand for a 92" TV. They don't make many stands that can handle the size and the weight. You will have to buy a solid wooden stand and you cannot buy a cheap one because they cannot handle the weight. Last thing you would want is the TV to fall off a cheap stand. Solid wood stands are not cheap so expect to spend $1000 plus for a stand. The TV is so big it actually looked pretty good just sitting on the floor without a stand

Features
3D Ready
Mitsubishi utilizes the same core DLP display technology that powers the vast majority of 3D theaters. DLP Has unpatrolled pixel response time with up to 1000 times faster than any other imaging technology, making 3D imaging realistic. A 92-inch screen makes everyone in the room can comfortably enjoy the true cinema 3D experience. Since Mitsubishi uses 3D DLP display technology like most 3D movie theaters do. You are guaranteed big, beautiful, larger than life 3D experience right in your own home. Use Mitsubishi’s 3D starter kit, along with 3D device and 3D content to watch immersive, realistic, 3 dimensional high definitional cinemas in your home.
Bluetooth
Stream your favorite music with Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming. Bluetooth audio streaming let you use your portable audio device or cell phone as an audio source. Pair your device with the Mitsubishi WD-92840 and use the built-in IST (immersive sound technology) speaker to listen to your music library with superior sound quality.
6 Color Processor
Mitsubishi 6 color processor takes color twice as far. Instead of standard RGB processing, 6 color processing splits the signal into red, green, blue, cyan, yellow and magenta. Mitsubishi 6 color processor processes them all independently each other. The six color processor creates more accurate primary colors and a wider range of secondary colors. Literarily billions of colors are possible in every frame.
Smooth 120
Smooth 120 sub frame rate processing displays a smooth film-like picture that has sharp detail but does not show pixel structure and has less blurring. It works by dividing a 60 Hz full frame into two sub frames of one half the pixels. This happens with twice speed of the standard 60 Hz. Smooth 120 sub frame rate creates a sharp image without bad and ugly screen door effect. The result is much less blurring and much more detail, especially in fast action scenes.
Stream TV
Connecting internet is stream TV. Press the internet button on your remote control to instantly access a wide variety of internet services. Enjoy the largest library and latest releases of HD movies with 5.1 surround sound from VUDU. Or stream your favorite music from internet radio and check in your social network accounts like Tweeter.
