Smooth 120 sub frame rate processing displays a smooth film-like picture that has sharp detail but does not show pixel structure and has less blurring. It works by dividing a 60 Hz full frame into two sub frames of one half the pixels. This happens with twice speed of the standard 60 Hz. Smooth 120 sub frame rate creates a sharp image without bad and ugly screen door effect. The result is much less blurring and much more detail, especially in fast action scenes. |
